    High Sensitivity 320x256 / 30μm MCT MWIR Cooled Infrared Module with Proximity Board


    Product Description

    EYAS330 AD module is an analog-digital cooled infrared module based on 320x256 formats 30μm pitch IR FPA. The typical NETD of EYAS330 is less than 9mK. The high sensitivity ensures detection or recognition for very tiny infrared radiation difference at very long distance.


    This AD module includes a proximity board that provides the FPA timing, and the sensitive power supplies. In addition, the Camera Link interface outputs 16bit raw data which highly simplifies the integration of the detector to the system.


    Therefore, EYAS330 module makes it easy for OEM customers to carry out fast acceptance test on GST C330M 320x256@30μm cooled infrared detector, start rapid secondary development and shorten their development period of cooled infrared modules or complete infrared thermal cameras or systems based on cooled infrared detectors.

    1. What is MCT/HgCdTe detector?

    MCT, also called HgCdTe, refers to Mercury-Cadmium-Tellurid which is a chemical compound of cadmium telluride (CdTe) and mercury telluride (HgTe) and a common material in photodetectors. MCT/ HgCdTe detector is a photoconductive detector that operates at a cryogenic environment and can detect infrared radiation. It is more sensitive than the thermal sensors.


    2. What is T2SL detector?

    T2SL refers to Type-II Superlattice, which is an artificial material with alternating growth periodic heterojunction at nanometer size. It has high uniformity and superior optical property, such as large electron effective mass,large absorption coefficient and high quantum efficiency. Compared with MCT infrared detector, the T2SL infrared detector has good material uniformity, low cost, and similar performance to MCT infrared detector in medium and long wave band, but has great advantages in very long wave band.
